Hi there, I'm Victor 👋
I live and play table tennis in Gouda, the Netherlands, at TTV Vriendenschaar. After years as a football goalkeeper and competing in skiing and snowboarding, repeated shoulder injuries pushed me to find a new sport.
In 2017, while living in The Hague, I discovered table tennis and started competing right away in the 6th regional division. I quickly fell in love with the game's precision and depth. Today, I play in the 2nd regional division and serve as amateur coach for our 130+ member club, helping players improve their technique and equipment choices.
Over time, I developed a passion for equipment materials, from wood properties and blade feel to rubber composition and pairing. This curiosity led to creating this website, where I share that knowledge to help others find the perfect setup for their game.
You can also find me on Reddit and Table Tennis Daily, where I actively discuss equipment and technique.
